There will be a Beer Festival 2025 Meeting followed by a Branch Meeting at The Rose Tree in Shincliffe on the 8th October 2024. 58 and 59 buses from Durham stop outside the pub, or 56 and X12 on the main road about a 5 minute walk from bus stop.

This will be the first meeting to discuss the 43rd, 2025 Durham Camra Beer Festival. All those interested in being involved in the planning, organisation and management of the festival are encouraged to attend. The 42nd festival which took place recently was provisionally a big success. Provisionally because the accounts are not yet finalised. Headed by our festival organiser Andy Stowell, and supported by many volunteers, the festival is proving to be a major contributor to the Durham Branch finances, essential to keep the branch going for the year. Without your help, this festival will struggle to maintain its position as the most prominent social and financial event of the Durham Camra year.
This will be a preliminary meeting to establish a lead organiser and assistants, and to generally set the tone of what we want to achieve going forward. Please attend as participation and help can be tailored to your availability.

Our Branch meetings are a mixture of social gatherings and Durham Camra Branch business. We need new voices alongside our regulars to help steer the branch in the directon our members want. Please come along. You can just listen or join in. You will be very welcome.
