Special offers and Member Discounts

Various pubs across the county offer discounts to CAMRA members (make sure you take your membership card). The offers available, as known to us in June 2026, are:

  • Sportsman, Belmont: 10% discount on cask beer for card carrying CAMRA members
  • Green Tree, Bishop Auckland: 10p off pint, 5p off half cask ale on production of valid CAMRA membership card
  • Bay Horse, Bishop Auckland: 10% off all cask ales with a valid CAMRA membership card
  • Newton Grange, Brasside: 10% discount on cask ale for card carrying CAMRA members Tuesday to Sunday. On Mondays there is a cask club when all cask beers are sold at discounted price to all customers
  • Pack Horse, Burnopfield: 10% off cask ale for card carrying CAMRA members
  • Masonic Centre, Chester-le-Street: A pint of cask ale will be 50p cheaper with the use of a valid camra 50p off voucher and a valid CAMRA membership card in the holders name.
  • Grey Horse, Consett: 20p off a pint of cask ale to card carrying CAMRA members
  • Duke of Wellington, Durham: 20p off pint of cask ale for card carrying CAMRA members
  • Half Moon, Durham: 20p off a pint of cask ale with a valid membership card
  • Head of Steam, Durham: 20p off cask ale for card carrying CAMRA members
  • Market Tavern, Durham: 10% off price of real ale for card carrying CAMRA members
  • The Waiting Room, Durham: 5% off cask ales for card carrying CAMRA members
  • Queen's Head, Framwellgate Moor: 10p per pint discount on cask ale for card carrying CAMRA members
  • Dancing Betty, Murton: 10% discount on cask beer to card carrying CAMRA members
  • Red Lion, North Bitchburn: 20p off a pint of cask ale on production of valid CAMRA membership card
  • Canteen Bar & Kitchen, Shildon: 10% discount on production of current CAMRA membership card
  • Oak Tree, Tantobie: 10% discount on cask ale for card carrying CAMRA members
  • Hare and Hounds, Westgate: With every evening meal or Sunday carvery get your first two pints of Weard'ALE beer half price. All you have to do is book a table in advance and produce your valid CAMRA membership card.

In addition, all CAMRA members currently receive £30 of CAMRA vouchers redeemable in the form of 50p off a pint of any cask ale nationally in many pubs. Full details of the scheme can be found on CAMRA's website. In the Durham Branch area these are pubs operated by Wetherspoons and one Stonegate pub. Amber Taverns were in the scheme but have withdrawn.
