We'll be using the number 16 from stand F at Durham bus station at 11:05, which gets to Stanley bus station at 11:42, and the number 6 from there at noon. It's only a three minute ride to Tanfield Lea, where we'll have a couple of drinks and reboard the number 6, which runs every half hour or so, for another short ride to Tantobie, then the same bus service to Burnopfield - another short ride.
If you're travelling from Chester le Street, there's the number 8 at 11:20 from stand K South Burns which arrives at Stanley bus station at 11:44.
If you're travelling from Lanchester, you can get the number 6 at 11:31 from the Green which gets you straight to Tanfield.
