Update: Due to a failure of the server hosting CAMRA branch websites, some votes from February 1st to 5th may have been lost. If you voted around this time please try to vote again. If your vote was lost the system will allow you to vote again.

As you may be aware, Durham's Station House was one of CAMRA's top 4 pubs in the Country in the 2022 Pub of the Year competition.

It is now time for us to vote for our Branch Pub and Clubs of the Year for 2023 who will hopefully go on to find similar success.

We are inviting all Branch members to vote for a City, Town and Country Pub of the Year as well as a Branch-wide Club and Cider Pub of the Year. To vote, you will need to visit our website at https://www.camradurham.org.uk/poty_voting_2023 to cast your votes. You can vote for up to 3 venues in each category - but you don't have to use all 3 votes nor vote in every category. To vote, you will need to log in using your National Website username and password. If you do not remember these, please visit https://account.camra.org.uk/forgot-password to reset it.

When voting, the venue you put in 1st place in each category will receive 5 points, your 2nd place 3 points, and your 3rd place 1 point.

The shortlist for each category has been taken from the 2023 Good Beer Guide. If there is a pub you think should have been shortlisted, please take this as an opportunity to ensure you submit some beer scores over on WhatPub - beer scores are a contributing factor to the Good Beer Guide entries. More information on scoring can be found in the latest Durham Drinker

If you are unable to access the form or have any questions, please email our Webmaster who can either provide you with a paper voting form or answer any questions.

Deadline for all voting is 17:00 on Sunday 12 February 2023 with the results being announced the following week.

Following this, there will be a judging trip to the City, Town and Country winners to determine which one will go through to the Regional Pub of the Year competition. This will be a minibus trip on either February 18th or 25th. To register your interest, please email our Webmaster along with a preference on date.
