This March, Durham CAMRA will be joining forces with Durham Rugby Club to produce the first joint spring beer festival. The festival will take place at the Rugby Club, on Green Lane in Durham City.

The event is expected to feature 48 cask beers over the duration of the festival, with up to 24 on at a time, and 8 ciders. Food will also be available.

The festival will open on Thursday, March the 7th and close on Sunday, March the 10th. The opening hours will be 11am-11pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 11am-6pm on Sunday.

Nominations are now open for the 2013 Durham Branch Pub of the Year, Club of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year. All branch members can take part.
