Hill Island celebrates 10th Anniversary with mini beer festival

Hill Island brewery celebrates its 10th anniversary this Saturday with a mini beer festival at the brewery in Fowler's Yard, Durham. The festival will be open from 2pm to 10pm, with 6 beers available at £2.50 per pint. Takeaway containers, minicasks and bottles will also be available.

Durham CAMRA present The Gambling Man Brewing Company a presentation cheque for the cask of beer they are delivering by foot on Tuesday to the beer festival in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance. John Corbett, Gambling Man's Brewery Liaison Officer for Durham CAMRA will also be walking with the guys. "Meet The Brewer" - Black Paw Brewery

The Bishop's Mill in Durham City is holding a Meet The Brewer event on Wednesday, the 1st of August, starting at 7pm. The special guest is Phil from the Black Paw Brewery, and there will also be pies.
