2nd Annual Chester-le-Street Masonic Centre Cask Ale and Cider Festival
Annual open afternoon to celbrate the brewery's birthday. Food available
Pop up bar providing 6 extra casks (13 in total). Cask, craft and beers from the wood. Complimentary nibbles including vegan and gluten free. Wide variety of gins.
To celebrate the brewery's first birthday and the opening of the monthly brewery tap every last weekend of the month. Street food from MAC 'N' CHEESE . 1st pour of Pale White ultra pale ale.
The next beer festival at the Surtees Arms in Ferryhill Station will be held from Wednesday 18th April until Sunday 22nd April and will be celebrating 10 years of the Yard of Ale Brewery which is based at the pub.
Cider and food will also be available and there is live music planned.
16 beers 6 ciders showcasing local beers. Normal opening times.
Presentation of certificates for Durham CAMRA town cider pub of the year and town pub of the year runner up on Thursday 8th at 19:30
On Friday 23rd February, CAMRA Durham's Club of the Year 2018, Tanfield Lea Workingmen's Club, is holding a fundraiser for the Prostate Cancer appeal. This appeal is supported by CAMRA nationally, so it has been agreed that CAMRA Durham will do its best to support this evening's fundraiser. Again, transport can be provided, but Jess needs to know a.s.a.p., so e-mail her right away at jess.durham@btinternet.com if you intend to join our trip to Tanfield Lea and have a chance to see CAMRA Durham's Club of the Year doing great work.

The theme of this year's beer festival is seven and we will feature seven breweries who will supply us with 35 casks of real ale and to complement the beer seven ciders will be on offer.
