June's Wednesday Wander will start at the Gilesgate Moor Hotel and head along Gilesgate towards Durham stopping off at The Shoes and The Woodman before finishing in the city centre
Our July Branch Meeting will be held at our current Pub of the Year, the Grey Horse in Consett. Details on the agenda and transport will be updated nearer the time.
This month's Branch meeting will be a social event visitng some of the pubs in Durham city centre, starting at the Half Moon at 19:30 before moving on to a couple of other places we rarely get to visit.
The Wednesday wander will take place on 17th May initially meeting at the Butchers Arms in Chester Le Street for 1300.
From there we take a bus just after 1400 to the Beamish Mary and also a visit to the Shepherd and Shepherdess, thereafter returning to Chester Le Street taking in the Plough and Lambton Arms if time allows.
The April Wednesday Wander shall be to Consett visiting our entry for the Regional Pub of the Year, The Grey Horse. This shall take place on Wed 26th April and we plan to meet at the Company Row (Wetherspoons) between 1pm and 2 pm. There are buses every half hour from Durham to Consett, the X5 or X15 and the journey can be completed for £2 each way.
There is an excellent choice of real ale in the Grey Horse including their in-house brewed Consett Brewery range. There is also a discount of 10p a pint for CAMRA members (with card) from prices which are quite reasonable.

The AGM will be at the Station House Durham, and is our annual renewal of our committee and our campainging.
This will be on the 13th April, starting 1930.
We will visit other pubs before the meeting - more details to follow.

In lieu of a Wednesday Wander this month we are having a Thursday Tipple outing to the Coxhoe Beer Festival on Thursday March 24th meeting from 13:00. The event is happening at the Coxhoe Village Hall with entry at £2 (including a glass) with a choice of 16 real ales and 4 ciders available at £3 per pint.
Coxhoe is served by the 56, 57, 57A, 58 and X12 buses from/to Durham.
