Travelling from Sedgefield there is an alternative route on the X21 to Peterlee then the X6 (and others) to Seaham. Seaham also has a railway station, so access is good overall.

Monthly Meeting
"A return to the classic pre-lockdown trips taking in several interesting pubs starting with an important country pub recently re-opened following extensive refurbishment at the western edge of our branch boundary. Then venturing along the Tyne Valley to a key community owned pub in another picturesque location. We continue the trip to two very interesting micropubs in the Tyne Valley with several exciting options for the last port of call."

Starting at 1900 at the Station House and led by Steven Spencer, the branch secretary, this is the opening night of the CAMRA Durham celebration.
1945 we will move on to the Elm Tree.
2100 we will head over to the Half Moon and finish at 2200is in the Dun Cow or the Vic depending on preferences of those involved.
