An evening at the Winter Festival in Beamish Hall on Friday 26 January from 6.00pm - it goes on till midnight; most of us will be back home before then, but those who wish can stay longer and find their own way home. CAMRA Durham is lending equipment and their is the opportunity to help behind the bar of 40 real ales. Public transport can be tricky, therefore, if there is sufficient interest, a minibus will be hired for the Friday - please don't delay, if you wish to take part, e-mail jess.durham@btinternet.com no later than 5.00pm on Wednesday 24th January AND also let her know if you wish to help behind the bar. The event is all indoors in Beamish Hall and, in addition to the real ales, there will be live bands, 20 gins, 10 bourbons and 20+ bespoke cocktails.
