For most we expect Go Ahead bus number 8 from Chester-le-Street to Stanley which run half-hourly and stops right outside the Beamish Mary.

As part of Durham CAMRA's 'Celebration of ale, cider, pubs, and breweries' members are visiting this previous winner of the Local CAMRA Club award
This will be on the afternoon of Monday 11th October
The club is open from 2pm to 4pm (drinking up time 'til 4:30pm)

From Durham, North Road, we'd recommend the 1320 Go Ahead service 16A to Stanley
The Go Ahead bus service number 6 (Stanley-Newcastle) stops very near the club
For example, the 14:10hrs from Stanley Bus Station takes just 4 mins, arriving near the club at 14:14hrs

Open Saturday from 2pm until at least 9pm.

Try their tasty beers inside and outside the brewery in Fowler's Yard, Durham City, at their socially distanced event.

Drinks will be served from a bar inside the brewery, and can be consumed inside (very limited space) or outside the brewery, in and around the gazebos.

QR codes will be displayed for those wanting to check-in to the venue using the NHS app, alternatively, customers may wish to check in via their Facebook page or leave contact details on a sign in sheet.

The Station House is amongst the region's best ale (and cider) houses. The beer festival is always a brilliant opportunity to sample quality live ale and cider, meet folk, have a bit of banter and generally enjoy the atmposphere of a superb venue.
