Regional CAMRA Events

The presentation of the North East Region Cider Pub of the Year award to the Station House, Durham will take place on Saturday 9th September at 1pm.

We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible. All are welcome and you don't have to be a cider drinker as the pub offers an interesting selection of ales for the beer drinkers amongst you. If you have never been to the pub before it is located on North Road at the foot of the access road to/from Durham railway station.

Start time is 1pm. One of the newly elected members of the National Executive Gary Chester has agreed to come. Gary is also one of the authors of the regional review.

Travel to the venue:

100+ beers, 40+ ciders and perries

Candidatesfor North East Regional Director hustings

Quarterly meeting for all North East branches
Will include vote for North East Regional Director

As you already know the Station House in Durham won its super-regional judging against the winners from Scotland and Northern Ireland, West Pennines and Greater Manchester.

It is therefore one of only 4 finalists in the National POTY competition.

There will be a presentation of a CAMRA certificate to mark the achievement on Tuesday 22 November 5pm in The Station House in Durham.

The next in person regional meeting will be in Darlington at the Quakerhouse 1 -4 pm

The presentation of the Regional Pub of the Year award to The Station House in Durham will be at 8pm during the first day of their beer festival. All are welcome.
