The annual Durham Beer Festival is fast approaching. This year's festival features 120 beers as well as 30 ciders and, for the first time, a variety of wines.
The festival, held in the now-familiar venue of Durham Student Union on New Elvet, Durham, will be opened at 6pm on Wednesday by Mark Hird of Tavistock Leisure and a representative from the Lindisfarne Gospels Exhibition.
The festival's opening hours are:
Wednesday 28th August | 4pm-6pm (CAMRA members and trade) 6pm-11pm (General public) |
Thursday 29th August | 11am-11pm |
Friday 30th August | 11am-11pm |
Saturday 31st August | 11am-11pm |
