The beer festival is now in it’s third year and enjoyed great success last year with 16 beers available on the outside bar as well as hog roast, live rugby and sport over three days. We also had a wine bar f and bouncy castle for children. The event proved immensely popular and will do again this year we hope.

Local Wetherspoons pubs have arranged a trip down to Yard Of Ale Brewery at Ferryhill Station
Breakfast, brewery tour, lunch and a couple of beers for just £15. Bus will be doing two pick up/drop offs, from The Company Row in Consett & The Water House in Durham.
Pop in to either The Company Row or The Water House to buy tickets. Also a tap takeover at the pubs.
York Camra are visiting Saturday 25th June, Meeting at Station House, At 12 Noon. and then having a wonder around the City.
To celebrate Great British Beer. We have researched a loist pof ales that have been brewed by the original brewery to the original recipe for at least the past 40 years, so you can try some old favourites or maybe discover something new!
