As you know the branch is responsible for which pubs go in the Good Beer Guide each year and the pubs group have to come up with recommendations. We have to submit our final list each March for the following year which will be upon us before we know it.
The customary pre Chrismas walking tour of real ale pubs this year is to be in Sedgefield where there have been a number of changes and new outlets opened serving real ale in 2018.

Social trip by bus to pubs around the Beamish area and Weardale including Beamish, Edmundbyers , Blanchland and Westgate.
Bus will depart from Durham at 10:30 and cost will be £10. Please email annegiles9@aol.co.uk to reserve a place on the bus.
