Welcome to the official website for the Durham Branch of CAMRA.
CAMRA Durham represent CAMRA across most of County Durham leading local campaigns to save our real ale pubs, clubs and breweries, and campaigning for a fair deal for real ale drinkers. We are also responsible for organising the annual CAMRA Durham Beer Festival. This is usually held after the August Bank Holiday in Durham City and showcases real ales from both local and national brewers along with a number of real ciders and perries. More information on the Beer Festival can be found on our sister site http://www.durhambeerfestival.org.uk/. Run by a committee of volunteers, we meet on a monthly basis in pubs around the Branch area to discuss local and national matters as well as general Branch business. These meetings are open to all CAMRA members. We also hold regular social gatherings where members can get together without the formal business of the monthly meeting. More information on the Branch, committee and our activities can be found here on our website.
