We have signed up a range of pubs who we know will be offering locale for the whole period. Details of where you can visit and what they have on offer is here: https://camradurham.org.uk/celebration-pubs

We have also given a pub quiz to pubs based on ale, cider and all things pubs/clubs that they can used in full or part during the celebration week.

How you can join in

Go to the pub! Go to the club! Drink real ale and real cider and support our local publicans as well as our local brewers as we enter the end of what has been a difficult year.
In addition, keep an eye on our Facebook group for competitions that will be running throughout the celebration period.

Theme: Brewing

As part of our CAMRA Durham celebrations we are planning a trip to McColls Brewery and Taproom on Saturday 9th October.
Pickups can be Durham and surroundings followed by Bishop Auckland and on to the venue at Evenwood, south west of Bishop Auckland. We are planning to get there by 12 o'clock as that will allow the opportunity to attend a guided tour of the brewery. This will include 3 free tasters for a price of £10 for the tour (to be booked separately via the McColls website please). Following this the taproom will be open with food available.
To book on the brewery tour please use this link: https://mccollsbrewery.co.uk/products/brewery-tour
The price to cover the minibus there and back will be £15, payable on the day in cash. To book a place you can sign up for them on our trip sign-up page.
Places are filling up fast, so best not to delay.
