The branch apologises for the lack of pub information in this section . The problem is we do not have a pub's officer on the committee. This post would suit a single person who could drive to pubs on "awkward" bus routes and gather information without drinking, or somone who's husband/wife/partner did not mind driving their other half to outlying pubs. Of course it involves more than just which cask beer is being sold. There are the issues of pub preservation, quality of cellarmanship etc. but don't worry, there are a few "oldsters" in the branch who will provide guidance and CAMRA H.Q. supply pamphlets for pub officers.
